MARVIN J. HOEKEMA, M.S.

Marvin grew-up on a dairy farm in Washington State.  After completing a B.S. magna cum laude at Washington State University and an M.S. at the University of Florida, he coordinated the Dairy Business Analysis Project in the southeast US.  He then joined the Dairy Strategies, LLC consulting team for nearly 5 years.  Dairy Decisions Consulting, LLC was launched in December 2004 to deliver value to the increasingly complex and risky decision process of dairy businesses and their owners and managers. 

Marvin’s background is in managerial economics, financial analysis, and dairy management.  Areas of expertise include dairy development, business formation, benchmarking, financial analysis, and has led the development and implementation of cutting-edge milk marketing strategies and analysis. Projects include financial investment and performance consulting for dairy production businesses in several states, providing managerial and market economic research for international industry projects, and leading the Milk Business training development and delivery effort in Australia.  The company is based in Visalia, CA with a nationwide presence.
